The purpose of the workshop was to review best practice and experience in engaging and enthusing academic staff in knowledge transfer. Methods included fellowships, secondments, training. Alun Tlusty-Sheen put together a programme from the many suggestions and offers to represent that have come in from the membership. During March and April, Alun spoke to potential contributors to structure thematic panels. The workshop was made up of four themed panel sessions and panellists spoke for 10 minutes each and then the session was opened up to general discussion.
