The Future Development of the Knowledge Exchange Concordat

The Knowledge Exchange Concordat provides a comprehensive and supportive framework for increasing the effectiveness of knowledge exchange and the development year has encouraged innovation, reflection, improvement and collaboration in knowledge exchange activities. To build on this success, ensure future sustainability for the KEC and to enhance its developmental impact, the KEC Strategy Group has agreed that the KEC will be led across the UK by PraxisAuril, the professional body for knowledge exchange from April 2024.

Change of leadership at PraxisAuril

After 12 months leading PraxisAuril into a new phase of its development, David Russell is stepping down in March as CEO of the organisation. He will be succeeded as Interim CEO by Dr Stuart Wilkinson RTTP, currently Assistant Director of Innovation and Engagement at the University of Oxford, and a Board member of PraxisAuril.

PraxisAuril’s former CEO, Maxine Purdie (Ficarra) has been made an MBE in the New Year’s Honours list for her contribution to knowledge exchange. Maxine led the UK’s national association for KE for 20 years before stepping down in September 2022.
