Contracts Officer (Fixed term for 36 months)
Research & Innovation Services

You will be employed as a Contracts Officer in the Research Governance and Contracts Section (RGC) of Research and Innovation Services (RIS). RIS is one of ten departments within the University’s Professional Services which supports the research activity of this Russell Group university.

As a member of the Contracts Team, you will provide professional advice, guidance and support to academic and research staff. The work of the Contracts Team supports the University in achieving its aims and objectives set out in ‘The Way Forward’, and in particular the sub-strategies for Research and Innovation, International and Engagement.

The Contracts Team works closely with the Research Governance Team, and the expertise across RGC is essential to ensure that the University’s research is of the highest quality and impact.  Working within RGC will provide the post-holder with an exciting and rewarding opportunity to work independently and as part of a professional team, in an area which is demand-led and often with challenging deadlines.

This position is full-time and fixed term for 36 months and available from 4th July 2017.
