HE Entrepreneurship Group Annual Conference 2017

Call for Contributions

Join us for the HEEG Annual Conference being held at Kingston University once more. This is your opportunity to share practice and find out how other institutions are embedding enterprise and entrepreneurship. We will be sharing best practice, examples of success and failure, evaluations and responses to the many challenges those who are concerned to develop an enterprising student and graduate body face.

The conference starts in the afternoon of 13th June, and continues until lunchtime of the 14th. The evening will provide an opportunity to network and have fun with existing and new colleagues. Details of the evening social will be provided in due course, but HEEG evenings are famous for their fun and relaxing atmosphere!

We invite you to share your triumphs, air your challenges, and find some new ideas for next year. Those interested in presenting a paper or leading a workshop are asked to submit their proposal by May 15th.

Please e-mail S.Chuturdharee@kingston.ac.uk for a workshop proposal form.

Our institutions are varied as to their missions, strategies, and the means at their disposal to support enterprise. We encourage enterprise educators and promoters to report and/or offer workshops on a wide range of associated topics, for instance (but not exclusively):

  • Embedding enterprise in the curriculum: case, examples, models, challenges, subject areas (e.g. nursing, STEM, business, arts and humanities).
  • Assessment and feedback:  approaches for promoting enterprise
  • Using Social Media and other technology to enhance the enterprise learning experience
  • International collaborations and perspectives on developing the enterprise experience
  • Incubation: how have you developed services and spaces in your institution / region / specialism
  • Business growth: services, models, and outcomes from your programmes in the community; working with local partners and LEPs
  • Funding:  crowd-funding and other approaches to developing ideas, services, & businesses

Please book your free spaces here.
