The Faculty of Business, Law and Applied Social Studies are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual as Academic Lead with responsibility for Innovation and Enterprise Activity in the Lancashire School of Business & Enterprise. This job role will provide significant leadership and management contributions to the School and will be responsible for income generation and enterprise in the curriculum.  The role will also oversee the School's offering around CPD and contract research and will co-ordinate commercial bidding activity. The role requires working closely with Dean of School, the Faculty Director of Innovation and Enterprise and academic staff to develop the Innovation and Enterprise portfolio. The role will also connect with other exciting initiatives across the university including the Centre for SME Development and Leadership Hub. The post holder will be responsible for reporting on school progress in innovation and enterprise at school and faculty level and will be required to teach on postgraduate enterprise modules. 

Educated to higher doctorate or higher degree level, with teaching qualification with successful applicant will have experience of successfully leading income generation and knowledge transfer activities relevant to the Lancashire School of Business & Enterprise. Experience of successfully enhancing the student and/or delegate experience and delivering enterprise in the curriculum and of substantive bidding for securing external funding are also crucial requirements for success in this role. With an understanding of contemporary HE, academic leadership and strong communication skills, the successful applicant will have the ability to thrive in a structured, complex and challenging environment.
